Elliot Glacier Cornbread
this is for those big ass pans we had,
so think it is best to cut it in half and that should work for a
regular cake pan sized batch ...
Cream w/ mixer the following:
2 cups butter flavored crisco
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Add and mix by hand:
1/4 cup stout or porter
2 cans (4 c) creamed style corn
3 cups flour
2 cups cornmeal
Bake @ 350* for 1 hour (and maybe 15 mins more)
